Roberta Spada earned her Degree in Physics (BSc) at the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna and her Master’s Degree in Science, Technology and Society (MSc) at University College London. As a PhD candidate, she works at the National Science and Technology Museum Leonardo Da Vinci on the collections related to radio and TV, focussing on some objects related to broadcasting infrastructures and radio consumption in fascist Italy. She is interested in understanding how the Museum co-produces technoscience by building public and private narratives through the artefacts that it collects, curates, and often exhibits.
