In a world characterised by the challenges of climate change, new technologies, and growing instabilities, risk is increasingly relevant both in our daily life and in academic research. And while risk has remained mostly peripheral to philosophical reflections, philosophy can significantly contribute to a full understanding of risk and of its implications for science and society. This workshop aims to address the concept of risk in its multifaceted dimensions, bringing together different perspectives and exploring its relation with uncertainty, decisions, and action.
